www.northpointonline.tv – online worship service – Tuesday, July 28, at 8 p.m.

via a broadcast email/note from Andy Stanley Hi Everyone, I have an exciting announcement I wanted to share with you. Next month we will launch our newest campus, North Point Online. Beginning Sunday, August 16, our evening service at Buckhead Church will be broadcast live on the Internet at www.northpointonline.tv. The online service will include worship, teaching, the opportunity to dialogue about that evening’s experience, and much more. You can learn all the specifics on our blog:www.northpointonline.tv. What’s most exciting about North Point Online is the unique opportunity for those of us who are part of North Point Ministries to share the experience with our friends, no matter where they live. We hope this will be a tool you can use to reach your unchurched friends who do not live near one of our churches. As we move toward the launch of North Point Online, there are two ways you can help. If you utilize social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, blogs, etc.), will you partner with us by promoting North Point Online through your networks? If so, simply click here and give us your information. We will get back to you with the details. Join us for a live, online gathering on Tuesday, July 28, at 8 p.m. at www.northpointonline.tv. We will be sharing some important details, as well as praying for our friends who might be led into a growing relationship with Christ through North Point Online. We will also release our second promotional video during the broadcast. More information regarding the online gathering is available atwww.northpointonline.tv. So mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 28, at 8 p.m. Parking should be a breeze! I hope you are as excited as we are about this new venture. I am grateful for your partnership as we serve together to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus. Sincerely, Andy

Unborn baby grabs surgeon

from a friend:

Please read before viewing picture – it’s worth it!

A picture began circulating in November. It should be ‘The Picture of the Year,’ or perhaps, ‘Picture of the Decade.’ It won’t be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner.

The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother’s womb. Little Samuel’s mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta . She knew of Dr Bruner’s remarkable

surgical procedure. Practic! ing at Vanderbilt Univ Med Ctr in Nashville , he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developedhand through the incision  and firmly grasped the surgeon’s finger. Dr Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile.

The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity The editors titled the picture, ‘Hand of Hope.’ The text explaining the picture begins, ‘The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Sam! uel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother’s uterus to grasp the fing er of Dr Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.’

Little Samuel’s mother said they ‘wept for days’ when they saw the picture. She said, ‘The photo reminds us pregnancy isn’t about disability or an illness, it’s about a little person.’Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.

Now see the actual picture, and it is awesome….incredible….and hey, pass it on. The world needs to see this one!
