sorry for the broadcast email, but for clients and friends alike (many of which are all across the world!), this could be advantageous – in case you didn’t know (or had never

actually tried it out, like i had not (until today))

so, i am late to this video chat party, i suppose, but if you have a gmail acct. and have a computer with a camera (macbooks and macbook pros are sweet for this, since they

have cameras built in), and install the free google video chat software, and we can talk live via video and catch up, or discuss layouts, or etc.

just an fyi. no need to respond.

Making a call

To make a voice or video call, just follow these steps:

• In the Chat section of your Gmail, select the contact you’d like to call

• Click the Video & more link in the lower-left part of the chat window

• Click either Start voice chat or Start video chat (if you don’t see these options, or if the person’s name doesn’t have a camera icon next ot it, they aren’t available for a

voice or video chat – more troubleshooting options)

• If you’d like to make the video area full screen, just move your cursor over the video chat and click the icon in the upper-left corner

• To resize the video area, you can click the Pop-out link in the chat window and drag the edges until the video is the size you’d like

When you’re done chatting, just click the hang up button.
